Thank you for choosing Lyndon Lanes as YOUR bowling center. We are a family owned and operated center entering our 44th bowling season, and employing our 3rd generation of family. We sincerely hope you enjoy our hospitality, and will be joining us this fall in one of our leagues. We would like to point out a few of the things we incorporate into our business operations that are exclusive to Lyndon Lanes.
Hospitality is our main concern, we always welcome you on your first night and say goodbye the last week with a complimentary beverage for all our bowlers. Likewise we wish you happy holidays with a food and beverage buffet, just to say we appreciate your business. We strive to offer excellent customer service with a family member most often on duty to oversee your visit and handle any problems. We try to employ friendly staff members who are allowed to stretch a rule on occasion to make you happy. If there are any problems PLEASE let us know so we may address them.
We offer our league bowler discounts throughout the year. Examples are: $1.00 off any game bowled, $1.00 shoe rental, 10% off any parties you have be it a birthday party, a company party or just friends. We will order bowling equipment for you at our wholesale prices with NO MARKUP. We offer free instruction as requested and we have 3 certified coaches available at our center.
We offer FAIR and HONEST lane conditions. What that means is we do not oil our lanes in a pattern that "steers" the ball into the pocket. In simple terms we do not believe in giving the better bowlers with thousands of dollars of equipment an advantage over the lower average bowler who pays the same for their enjoyment. We believe that all bowlers should have an equal opportunity to win their league, jackpots and recognition. We are the only center that awards its bowlers with $100 cash for achievements: 100 pins over average, Women's 270/700, and Men's 300/800 scores all receive one award per calendar year. We also find that our bowlers always do well in tournaments because they have the ability to bowl their average or better at any center.
We also insist that controls on all optional jackpots, bowl-a-strikes, and brackets are in place to keep any dishonest activities from stealing your money. While most centers allow unregulated activities where dishonest people thrive, we do not. All bowl-a-strikes are conducted by selling tickets at a countable pace, winners are drawn by us at the desk and cash reconciliation provided. We insist all jackpots are closed and turned in at desk prior to the game they pay out on. We offer bracket services to our leagues that request them. Unlike other centers where league members operate brackets and take a 12.5% cut for themselves and then allow individuals to post their own scores (supposedly the right scores)... using the Bracket Man program we randomly pair the bowlers, we collect scores and pay the winners from the desk. We also add 50% of the bracket fees directly into YOUR LEAGUE PRIZE FUND. Therefore even if you choose not to play the optional bracket jackpots you benefit from the added prize money. We added over $500 to the Monday Chieftain League and Tuesday Summer Trio and over $1500 to the Thursday Merchants League last season alone... no other center provides these advantages.
